Diversity Trips

One of the perks of living on campus at N.C. state is the opportunity to attend diversity trips through my residence hall and other programs. These trips allow me to expand my cultural awareness while teaching valuable lessons about service and community.

In September, 2012, I attended the Wolf Village Fall Diversity Trip to Cherokee, N.C. This short series of posts combines some of my reflections on and recollections of the trip and shares some of the lessons I learned while discovering Cherokee culture in the mountains of North Carolina.
